Hi Folks..Just a thought for maybe a Club Weekend in coldest darkest November

Kendal Mountain Film Festival

When the weather is Wet, Cold & Rubbish..there is no better way to while away the time with Friends a Drink and listening/watching adventures of the wildest extreme...Get you all fired up for the season of 2011.. :)

Van People..There are loads of places to park around Kendal within a short easy walk of the town centre ( Us & the Littles just camped up in a school carpark last year..dead handy & nice & quite..No problems)

Those who have not quite got round to purchasing your New Van..(go on You Know You Wanna !) Kendal is a lovely place with plenty of B & B's ..Just ask John Miller, free cups of tea after his epic XC this year.

Have a look at the programme for this year. Starting off with a Talk on November 18th by some bloke called 'Jocky'..might be worth a visit.

Anyway, thought it could be a good social..see what ever you want then maybe all arrange a Renevouz and get together on the Saturday night.

Van people? is that posh for Pikey?

camping out in November, trespassing on a school playground?.... whats next, bottles of meths in brown bags and eating out of bins for a night for kicks?

I don't know, you extreme people know how to live.! ;)

Hello! I think its a great idea!

Do you know if you can get tickets quite last minute or do they sell out quickly? We won't know Ians November shifts for weeks yet.......

Yoohoo Naomi. Yes last minute is not usually a problem ( except for the big name lectures Leo Holding etc etc). But there is so much going on every little Church Hall reading room Public Loo ! Is used for some talk or other. Mind you we did sneak out of 'Dancing With My Canoe' !

Yes we will be going... Its a great weekend, especially when its dark at 4 normally dreek, cant think of a better thing to do than see some of the antics that other nuuters get upto!! but won't be going to the kayak dancing again!!!!

We went last year, and had a wonderful weekend, watching Alain Robert give a talk on his insane free climbing of buildings.

We will be going again this year.
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........
