leaving blyth at 9am sharp and hoping to get a good start
me mad dog brian jan ? and others can fit in the van will have room for 6 and can carry a couple more up the hill if need be. hope to be at the bottom for 10.30-10-45 as i think a early start may prove to be better thogh i do think we will end up with a full days flying.
given the late season for a comp i think we need to be looking simple like sheep pens and back multiple tries and walking and then radar masts and back at least something like that format with as much walking or flying.
cheers gary
comp is on for all cross fell 10.30-10-45 at the bottom

well i think all things been equal we almost had a perfect day, and would like to thank everybody for there support in turning up.
me jan brian maddog wendy colin andrew bill anto lloyd graham gillroy noam dave hunter alisdair susan neil
i think it was possible to of getting a task done but i think for safety and for the sake of enjoyment we decided not too.
mad dog got some of the best flying in with going over too man at edge and having a good 40 minutes flying. the wind strength was fresh but was certainly not too strong it was just a little bit off to the south for comfort.
still at the end of the day i decided just to fly down and ended up landing in the village so i think we had been a bit over cautious but better this way than any body getting hurt.
at least 4 got to fly with lots of sail planes
cheers gary
