Xmas night out

Post by Jim Bittlestone »

Trying to contact Prima but for 2 days they've been engaged!
Not sure if anyone is already sorting this?
I was thinking of the 16th December, booking for 15? 20?
I know Julie was looking into this but not sure if anywhere was booked?
Cheers

That will be Gary ringing them up Jim.

They have not worked out how to get him of the phone yet.

I heard the head chef was contemplating suicide!

Ok, apologies if I'm stepping on toes here, if I am, I'll gadly take my foot off and step back into the shadows, but here goes:

I've provisionally booked the Prima restaurant at Newcastle Quayside where about 20 of us went last year.

http://www.primarestaurant.co.uk/home.html

I have booked it for 8pm and guessed at 18 people, this is flexible and confirmed by £10 deposits per person which have to be in by the end of November.

The other stipulation is that we get food orders in 2 or 3 days before the 16th December. There is a menu online on the link above.

If someone has already sorted something, I will ring and cancel, no bother, if not......

who wants to party? (dance) (dance)

PLEASE NOTE DEPOSITS ARE NOT REQUIRED, CHRIS HAS HAD A WORD

I guess I should say that if the 16th is no good for folk we can take a majority decision on another day, but I'm not sure on availability for other days?
Just thought it would be an idea to name a date?

Oh and the menus are
http://www.primarestaurant.co.uk/menus/ ... s_2010.pdf

scroll down to the Italian and traditional Xmas menus.

Two more with Paul and Kay brings it to 12.
Anymore for anymore?

Could those that are in the area please pay their deposits direct to Prima, before the end of November? I will be having a cycle into town nearer the date and will pay deposits on folks behalf who are yet to pay.

Keep em coming, 6 places left out of the 18 reserved although this can be changed either way.
Cheers

Champion, thats 16 so far.
Remember no deposits required this year, Chris has sorted it.

The menus are Italian Xmas or Traditional Xmas menu,

http://www.primarestaurant.co.uk/menus/ ... s_2010.pdf

We need to choose from the menus in advance, if all can pm me with their food choices I will ring them in all together and keep a record so we don't forget whos having what.

This needs to be done before 12th December please.

We need final numbers by the end of November. I've reserved 18 but this could be increased by a few possibly if we get in sharp.

Just want to bump this as we have 17 booked so far for the Xmas night out in Newcastle on the 16th December, which is great.
If anymore are interested, please post/ pm sooner rather than later so I can get in touch with Prima and increase our numbers from 18.
They want final numbers by the end of November.
For those booked so far, any suggestions on a pub to meet in beforehand?
Booked for 8pm at Prima, thinking 7pm? 7.30pm for the pub?
What do folk think?
Cheers

JIM. It might sound a daft idea, but if you were to park your cars around where we are going to party, and get a taxi just
along the quayside to the, “Free Trade Pub” beside the Glass House Bridge.

The pub has smashing views of the River and Bridges. I am sure you will
Love it. It is just too far to walk! Lots of Real Ale at a fair Price.
