Weather, which choice?

Difficult enough to make a choice of flying sites, but when 2 forecasts are giving totally opposite wind directions, what can you do?
Synoptics tend to suggest XC may be right.
What's your money on?

East hill could be on or the ppg going to wait and see as things have changed so much in the last ten hours

If both forecasts are right?????? You could soar East and West Hill and get the record height gain for the Cheviots in the convergance! :)

But that would class as a powered flight if you had rudolph and the gang helping you.
I'm sure some eagle eyed person would spot the gps trace and call you a cheat! :roll:

He must of improved quite a bit then ! the last time he tried that he got 30yards and a busted prop... :o

Back on to main thread... its difficult for most forcast to get it right when were sitting in the middle of a high pressure with small lows all over the place.

I find the satellite pic's + using the rasp tables to be fairly reliable.
Maximise your time & dosh do both Hanggliding & Paragliding :)
