Mountain Masterclass News

The venue has been sorted. We are going to be based at the old school near the centre of Keswick. We have use of the green pavillion at back of the site. There is parking on site ( parking charges unfortunately).
The old school is located at the west end of Keswick, between the mini-roundabout at the bottom of the high street and the turn off to the pencil museum and industrial estate where the Sick and Wrong have their unit. We will meet there at 9am daily (except on the first day of the course when we will meet at 8am to allow time for registration, introductions etc).
I recommend that you bring a 2m radio for the course. I will be using one and broadcasting updates on conditions, advice and tips to those that can receive it. It is not essential but it could enhance your flying experience. A cheap Chinese one will set you back around £40 on ebay or a decent branded one around £160 from the Sick and Wrong.

Coaching News

For those of you who have expressed interest in coaching/guiding in the Lakes; from the 1st march I am going to be sending out alerts of approaching flyable weather windows. Anyone interested in taking advantage of these opportunities to do some personalised coaching should let me know asap. I will operate on a first come first serve basis.
Groups up to 6 welcome (see website). These days are suitable for any level from post CP looking to learn to thermal up to seasoned XC hounds looking for their first 50km triangle. You will only ever be amongst a group of pilots with similar abilities and aspirations. Should you want me exclusively for you or your group on any given day, please say so at the time of booking.

Come on Spring, we're getting impatient now!
