Notam/restricted flying in the Lakes this weekend

Be aware if you are thinking of flying XC in the lakes -

This weekend is the Windermere Air Show and 3 Notams are in force. There is a 3 mile radius restricted area over Windermere for the whole of the weekend and there is a 6 mile radius restricted area in force for the Red Arrows display late on Sunday afternoon. Full details can be found in the news section of the home page of the CSC web site. The 6 mile restricted area touches Rydal Water so you do not want to be south of Grasmere on Sunday afternoon. Also remember that some display aircraft will position north and south of Windermere as the lake provides a good lead in. 2 years ago the Vulcan positioned from the north over Dunmail raise.
