sorry folks but i am away on holiday and i have john miller to stand in and chair the meeting. and i am sure colin would like to be secratary if he feels fit enough for the night.

johns will be there to spread the spring and joy that we have all just experienced over the last 4 weeks where all you can say is pretty epic by any standards.

No problem Gary I'll be there as mad dogs wingman. As for my health still one or two problems but I can walk 2km without any walking aids now so getting there, still can't run, tried a few days ago and my legs nearly disappeared from under me, not be long now before I'm back in the air, reckon I'll be ready for some basic manoeuvres at the LCC, SAT and some big wingovers.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

Your mental health is first priority when flying any aircraft.. if your head is not in gear then don't fly !

Colin, I was very ill three years ago and lost 3.5 st in 6 weeks ! two weeks in hospital does lots to the mind set ! so I can imagin how you are feeling at the moment.. but patience will get you there, for me flying again was a huge boost to everything.

Can't make the meeting tomorrow but could you talk about NOTAM's I don't think many members if any are doing them..
Maximise your time & dosh do both Hanggliding & Paragliding :)

The hardest part Ron is keeping a level head and feet on the ground, it's difficult not to fall into the invincibility complex when you have beaten a 20% chance of survival and a total of 3 brushes with death, the first time Gary came in we had to make out he was close family as I was only few days out of the 20% survival and the docs still were not sure I was going to survive.
