come on where are all the flights? as they looked interesting as to take off on east hill and end up further south than where you started.

i did start to worry that the 50k was going to go when i heard that 5 went over the back at high altitude.

cheers gary

East hill today - 5 pg's 2,400asl from a training hill as you keep saying Gary..

Brilliant effort from Chris Foster, Bill Scott (bloody unlucky not to get away) Brian, Mad dog, Lloyd & Paul

What a pity that the sky was over developed around the Cheviots because if not Iv'e no doubt the 50k + was there for the taking !

It was also great to watch 2 pg's managing to get onto the bowl where Rob Turner's ashes lie, he's been up there on his own for a long time now and I am sure he saw the 2 club members soaring today.. brilliant !

Great to see more club members using a great site.

aas you say 5 gliders out the back fantastic, however 2400asl with hills as high as 2700asl means your pretty restricted and end up ridge hopping. a great effort on a training slope though unfortunately still a training slope and not a xc hill, however moneylaws is the latter.
