France September?

Post by steve-gill »

Anyone fancy France in September. Two up for it so far, but the more the better.
I was thinking of about 2 weeks, driving down and Dover Calais ferry.
Anecey Aspres or Laragne or open to suggestion.

Was doing a bit of a look myself in case my September is free of any hassle, found that there is a comp at St Andre first week or 2 of September which 'closes' the site (unless you want to be a wind Dummy!)

Heading for a place called Le Treh Markstein in the Alsace region, back end of next week. Not alpine but never been there so will give it a try. If it reminds me of Titlington then will head further south

Went there years ago and it was very nice ( 1st week in sept also ) It has take offs either side of a large flat valley, some ramp and some rounded grass slopes.
Unfortunately I wont now be going to France this year. Hope you have a good time.
