Nice one guys I didn't have the best of days; having planned a good XC route; bombing out taking off to early then walking from Doddick Fell back to Blease well over 1hour after getting glider wrapped in heather Then took off again and got to Souther at Cloud base and instead of following the cloud toward Penrith (flying with Steve Etherington) decided to go back toward Blease to try my declared triangle (Doh!) only to bomb out again past St Johns in the Vale and wrap my glider around a barb wire fence on landing. Doh
Consolation was a lovely speedfly off Blease Summit with Jan, Rob & Dave and walking to the pub to indulge in the ales
Good fun all the same :)

Well don't feel so bad about my flight at Blease on Saturday when I noticed Richard Carter put his flight on the XC league and did almost the same thing as me Off to early; bombed out walked back up; took off about the same time for a second attempt went to Souther at cloud base pushed out front to what looked like a good cloud street and bombed out again
Ah well paragliding can be great or bloody frustrating at times
One of those days I guess
