Had a look at Druridge Bay when blown out one weekend, it has some fair sized continuous dunes but I suspect there may be hazardous rotor inland of them. Know of any reasonable sites up the beautiful North East coast I could safely try Ron? What is Bamburgh like? Its just a long haul from Ingram to Marske for what is there for a little messing around.
I'll never be this young again!

There are some nice dunes in front of 'Duridge bay country park' and I would say the best wind direction would be easterly about 10-12mph
be very carful not to get blown over the back there will be rotor.

Alnmouth has a nice s.east ridge just above the golf course take off is at the east side of the ridge next to the 6th green, watch out for loose golf balls ! I often fly here when its too wind at East hill.

Walkworth have some nice dunes in front of the golf course still to be flown with a paraglider and there are some nice spots for a toplanding.

Bewick upon tweed have some fantastic coastal sites yet to be flown.
