I was thinking about this myself tomorrow afternoon.
It has a steep face so needs fairly light winds. Nearly everytime time I've been their its blown out! Best in a SW wind if it goes Southerly can get a bit bumpy. Watch out for the small quarried area in front of the take off for rotor.
Give me a call if you're heading down that way 07966153668

Looks a bit gusty down there but fairer over the course of the weekend.

I might risk staying up North with more known West-South sites and try Old Bewick out instead. I've not flown there either but it looks really good.
