Post by brian day »

I am getting a load of gobbledygook on the sites guide page, are you working on it Mikey or is there a problem?

Hi Brian,

nope, it was actually something that happened to our forum server on thursday night I think.

Looks like there was a problem with the forum and when it came back, the secure tunnel I use to access the user rights (to see if you are a club member etc.) got broke. Because I was depending on it every time a person enters the site, it also brought the site guide down.

I've just fixed it. I made it a bit more robust so now if it can't connect it just goes ahead anyway and uses the last info it has on your access rights.

I'll work with Steve when he's back off his hols to get the access rights stuff fixed, but the site guide is now back and working.
