Hi Geoff,
try ex Surface to Air owner, Sam Cullingworth. He has a fantastic place at the foot of Mendos mountain with views of Babadag and a 10min drive from Olu Deniz. The cattle trucks up the mountain pass by near his place too. Not sure how much he charges per night or what his vacancies are like at the moment but it's worth a try:

Hi Geoff
A few years back I stayed in the Celcuk, a small hotel just off the main drag and about 100 yards from the beach. Accommodation was twin beds with an ensuite shower/bathroom, but no meals ( just went out for breakfast or bought something from the shop downstairs). It cost £8.00 per night in '97. Good hunting!
