BCC - Your club needs you!!

Post by AlastairW »

NHPC are currently top of the BCC League table!

The league works by taking your top six scores from rounds entered, and the top six teams in the league then go forward to the final in Wales on 18th/19th August.

So far no one has scored in more than three rounds...... So there is a real risk that if the Southern clubs get in three rounds over the next couple of weekends, we could be bumped out of the top six...., as they would have six scores to add to their total, whereas we have only three at the minute.

Ed Cleasby, who organised the round on Cross Fell, has therefore booked "Northern" rounds over the next two weekends..... nominally in the name of the Cumbria club, but he is happy for them to take place ANYWHERE it is flyable, just to get a task or two in.

So we need committed pilots ready to drop everything and rush of to compete on behalf of our club..... We probably wont know where until Friday evening....

Anyone interested please let me know! Stick your name on here....

We could possibly be British Club Champions!!!

Sorry for the late update, but not suprisingly todays round has been canned.

Ed Cleasby is still hopefull of getting a task in tomorrow....

And the BCC organisers have confirmed that next weekend is the last weekend for rounds to count toward the final.

Fingers crossed!

It has taken nearly a fortnight..... but at last we are top of the League in the BCC!!

Tomorrows comp is DEFINITLEY on.... Meeting at the Little Chef just West of the Penrith Junction on the M6 at 10:15.

If we can get ANY score on the board tomorrow it will virtually guarantee us a place in the final...
