I cant see wood for the trees with this one.
Apparently Jack is very good and I would dearly love to make sence of it,.
Could any of you regular users of Jack post some sort of idiots guide to using it.

Just started using it as well, didn't use it for the same reason before, but the new look seems a little easier. Look down the right hand side a find the 'Key' it helps explain things a bit. There is so much info on the other pages you need to take time and try things to see what is most appropriate to use. I'm no where near that yet, although others might be. It will be interesting to see what people use.
See you out there!!!!!

Just use the link down the right hand side. It's not that difficult once you know what the language actually means.
It's worth spending time on the site, it will be well repaid.
Shouldn't be too difficult with the current batch of weather
Kids go back to school next week - should mean the weather improves
Looking at metcheck, BBC, Lakes Fell weather etc, I think that holds true. Time for a bit of time off work

Steve
by all means take note of the Weather Jack reports but bear in mind that when he refers to the 'north' he usually means from about Birmingham up. The weather up our way is a little more complex than that off the South, needless to say, although parallels can be drawn, by and large we don't fall into the remit of Jacks predictions.
As a general rule of thumb though if jack if predicting a '5' do whatever you can to get out flying.
