flying hg at the coast

i had been waiting for months for flying at the coast as it produces nice lift and easy flying. well that be the case on a pg but on a hg it is easy once you get the first turn in and our above the hill but untill then it was my most chalenging take offs so far. you dont realise how much more skill it takes to fly a hg from just taken off to landing but even side slipping along thecliffs is so much more woork. i must say on sunday the wind was quite gusty in the air as one minute you were up and then you were down.

as for the flying the whole flying experience feels so much safer the speed feels such a buzz its like been a kidd again. when i stop making contribution to alcan then i think the whole flyig will be complete been able to just switch from hg to pg is the best combonation.

i resisted flying a hg for so long as i knew it would end up taken over as in general it had always been what i wanted to try. as for the xc thing i would like to be nearer 100% on landings. i am neary going into double figure flying hours with hg and it is getting easier all the time.

the one i would say is dont knock it untill you have tried it.
