Catbells in all its autumn glory

Post by gordie »

After walking up Catbells 3 days in a row, today it finally came up with the goods. Despite a grey day the flying was lovely and the autumn colours are breath taking at the moment. Steve G, Steve Thwaites (on his new Sigma's maiden flight) had a unexpected float up and down Borrowdale.

Hope you enjoy the pics, the best I could do in very tricky light but they tell the story:

Oh well lucky sods.
Jim Marshall and I waded and hiked up Carrock for about 3pm.
Then bliss - only a fly down - but at least I escaped more of Jim's stories!!!

Very nice photo's indeed Gordie - considering the gloomy light.
