Hello, my name is Paco I am from Spain and now I am living here in Newcastle for a time I am paraglaider pilot and I would like to contac with your club to fly out one day if possible with someone who knows the flight areas, I always like to go with people who knows the zone.

Hi Paco,

Welcome to the NE of England!

As you are probably aware Newcastle is a bit cold at this time of year and flying conditions (for all but the very experienced at flying the sites) are very variable. I don't know if you have joined the club (£25 I think) but I think that is the best idea.

Monthly meetings are on the first Wednesday of every month at the Cornerhouse pub in Heaton on the A1058 Coast Road.

I am only a newbie so not an expert but I think you have the right idea in contacting the club. In England we have to negotiate with landowners for access to flying sites and have to abide certain rules. Most sites are within 1.5 hours of Newcastle.

Hi Paco welcome to the frozen north I am a club coach and get out flying as much as I can, usually midweek so keep an eye on the weather forcast and if it looks good and you want to go flying give me a call

Hi Paco, just read your post shame you hadn`t joined us today, the snow was past my knees walking up to the take off but the flying was nice when we got there. I am free midweek as well for the next 3 weeks. 07989954542. steve.
