Wendy has LOST her Kit :(

After arriving home from Xfell today (Sunday) we began to unload the car and discovered wendys Harness pack missing. This immediately rang a bell and wendy realised she had left it leaning against the stone wall at the side of the road!!!

Wendy landed between Hartside Cafe and Alston just past the big white house. We have notified the police and left a message in the Alston CO-OP offering a reward for its safe return in case any local comes across it.

Sadly it not only has her Hanggliding Harness & Parachute but also the following inside:

Competino Vario GPS
Garmin eMap GPS
Kenwood Radio and PTT
Flying Suit
Helmet, Gloves and balaclava

At the moment wendy is inconsolable and absolutely gutted!, in the event of these not turing up wendy asks if members can keep eyes and ears open should they come to your attention on the hill or eBay etc.

have you got a description of the harness and bag.

Thats really sad Wendy, hope it turns up --- I lost mine once (left it in the back lane when unloading) luckily I had my name address and Phone number on it, the next day someone Knocked on my door with it. It must be a good idea for everyone in the club to do this, it paid off for me.

The harness is a Bright Yellow Woody Valley Tenax harness bought from Airways. It was made for Judy Leden but never used.

The Bag is plain Black and very non-descript apart from Judys name and Airways in the name pocket.
