Besides only paid up members were asked to use real names and not made to do so.

Difficult to tell if someone is a spammer or not, till they start to spam. The obvious ones are easy, like titsrus, bigboobshere.. anything other than that I would just let through, you can always ban after.

The more people the forum has, the richer it is in many ways.

SO pleased the club seen sence about the names thing.

? I don't think anyone mentioned that.

The last I heard, unless you had a proper and "correct" name you were not getting in, that's why I asked. Thanks for clearing that up.

appologies if i over-reacted, although real names are prefered they are not mandatory, they never were and if the way i worded it led people to beleive that it was i apologies, the real name thing was to try and make it easier to match up users with the member list.

I thought the club agreed to only real names with contact details (email address) as to stop the cracker jacks.

Why would anyone want to go on a flying web site when they clearly have no interest in aviation ?

No worries Colin.

Ron define "cracker jacks", we are talking about letting people into the forum regardless of there name. Not letting blatant spamers who want to sell porn or drugs.
