Colin Chapman on his way to see his maker. Convergence in front of cross Fell. Tony Bradley Flew from Great Dun Fell to Talkin Tarn,
We think this is a first on a
Paraglide. Where wear the boys and Gal’s from Cumberland. Good turn out by NHPC.

Hi Ron, Glad you had a gud un. Most of the Cumbrians heading to White Stones, some flew Jenkin when base lifted mid afternoon and I was on good old Bewaldeth with around 13 students and 10 Tandems done, quite a busy day but Blowy Bewaldeth came up with the goods and gave us a great day.

I don't think its open to us as it used to be,
I think there are restrictions and money to pay to the farmer,
can you clarify this Gordie??

Reading the csc sites guide you don't have to pay but there is a limit of 6 gliders in the air . If the schools on the hill turn round and go home as they take priority as they have a financial agreement with the farmer
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

The payment allow you to 'join' the school.......

But at the moment it's all at bit up in the air, so as colin says you are better going some where else if teaching is going on.
