I go along with what Brian say, very informative talk, puts the lakes in to a new light well done Gary.

Certainly opened my eyes to what is possible on what is probably the best scenery in the uk and it's not all just for XC hounds either

Yes I agree, entusiasam re-kindled, just my sort of flying big hikes, big hills and big distances; dreamed of (maybe one day who knows)
I like the sound of the Scafell Pike ridge run, will be giving that a try soon. So anyone want to join me next time there is a light westerly :o

Yes me to Brian couldn't stop thinking about changing to a lightweight set up. Mine weighs in at around 22kg - a long way to hike from Borrowdale to Scafell carrying that, but if needs must, I'll give it a shot.
Gary I think its about time you changed your kit, that advance lightweight pod really doesn't suit you I think you'll be much better off with your other harness and it gets much better write ups :wink:
