five years in the waiting and finaly flown over cheviot

Post by gary stenhouse »

well tonight was the night with light enough winds with no strong upper winds high pressure and stable. so put in the way point and just went, bit of turbulance around eshot but once i was over 3000 it was smooth as silk and at 4000 it was just perfect and how flying should be. flight time was 2 hours 28 minutes so not bad for over 100 km with a ppg and no more than 6 litres of fuel.

cheers gary

Nice flight, saw you fly over while training in Ingram valley, your ground speed was very good when head home. 8)

Gary, on the second picture we are standing just above the 2011 '0'
if you blow up the pic to 200% you can just about see the paraglider.
