What a load of balls,,,,,, well, that’s how the day started, then was discussed, and how it ended!
Starting with putting my phone on charge and leaving it there was soon to be followed up with Mad Dog,,,,oh I’ve got a lift and there’s no room for you, then the Chairman who had been loaded with bullets and pointed in my direction,,,,oh how the job of chairman has changed,,,,,,,not!!!! (more of this in another post)
And so, to the hill, where a great deal of parabollox was discussed.
Main topic of the day was led by Professor Neill Smith with his theories of particular physics, a topic worthy of any club meeting, which puts to bed the myths upon which our sport is based, no more Bernoulli or venturi is all about the balls from now on.
Eventually the weather gods became fed up with balls, the sky cleared and the wind, for once at XFell was in the right direction.
The squadron was scrambled to test the new particular science theories.
I opted for the particular accelerator, which in altering the angle of attack meant that I was bombarded with less tennis balls.
Others went for the height option where there are fewer tennis balls (I think that’s because they can’t be hit that high, is that right Neil?)
Mad Dog, just couldn’t stand up because of the number of balls hitting him.
Anyway, after an hour testing the new theories Neil and I came to the conclusion that the Dog had the right idea, stand your ground and bat them back and joined him armed with tennis rackets. Those going for the height option went to the café where they shared their balls with the bikers.
However the day went, we are all now clear, thanks to the professor, (and we must pay him,,,,,in full,,,,for his services, and I’m sure those that opt not to will have much negative Karma and car trouble) for his enlightenment on flight and life,,,,just remember,,,it’s all about the balls!

have you been on the space cakes as that is a very confusing post but the skies in the Stanhope valley were amazing..
however after hearing there was no wind and clowded over ai decided to go home early after the trial.
today another trial and guess what I am lame again I felt my groin pop so hoping not going to be lame too long or will need putting down

why I couldn't take up the knitting but its the charity classic in 4 days and it might even be flyable
taken all the toys including trials bikes and maybe paramotor but some how think walking may be difficult tomorrow
