Nova Testival with Dean Crosby

Post by AngusB »

I'm heading down to Dean Crosby's Nova Testival event in Derbyshire if anyone else is in the market for a new glider or fancies testing the range.

I've sold the Indy so I'm desperate for something at the moment... Have a feeling Iain will only lend me his Geo3 a few times before he says no!

The only downside is I can't seem to find much info on it. All I know from talking to Dean is that it's in Derbyshire, possibly flying around the Mam Tor area & they're meeting at 9am...I finish night shift at 9...

He said phone reception will probably be minimal but I'm going to try on the morning just after 9 to find out where they're heading then try to catch him on the radio once I'm in the area.
They'll be on 143.950 if anyone is heading down.

Hi Angus, I was sort of up for it and may yet do a day out but not overnight. It's a long journey and I'm travelling to Leicester / midlands again on Monday afternoon for work. So not sure probably not
