Tandem stars big night out

Post by brian day »

Thanks to the stars of youtube tandem adventures, AKA Chris and Jan.
After fighting through the traffic (where did it all come from)and leaving my poor little car down a dimly lit side street half on the pavement, (luckily still there and in one piece at the end of the evening) a brisk walk down the hill found us at the evening venue.
A fantastic evening, very relaxed, great company, AND we got a glimpse of the dog with a smile!!!!!! as his birthday cake was brought in at the end of the evening. Thanks to Julie (John Wallis's wife) for a lovely cake and a great Mad Dog for the top and to Kay for the brilliant card to make the treat complete.
Really nice to meet the partners of all the pilots, the ones who stay behind and worry about us, all, lovely people.
Brilliant night, thanks again to all for organising and to all that were there and made it such a good night.
That's it for me, Christmas is officially here, time to celebrate!
Poor Julie, (my wife) had to suffer the walk back up the hill at my usual pace, ooops! we had to stop at the top for her to gasp for breath, other than that, she had a great evening too and sends her thanks to everyone for making her feel welcome.
And then,,,,there was the traffic!!!! I went home via the Western bypass to avoid the grid lock in the town.
Hope everyone got home safely and had as good an evening as we did. (party) (party) (party) (party) (party) (party) (party) (party) (party) (party) (party)
See you out there!!!!!

Sometimes when you go to Christmas night outs you wonder who you're going to get on your table or who you're going to sit next to  But the turnout last night was so excellent you just had to do the tour of the tables there was so many great people turned out. I can't believe how quick the night seemed to go, by the time we got in it was 12:35. I was fortunate to Have Dave Horn and his wife on our table and as soon as I heard Dave's infectious laugh I knew it was going to be a good night....Hell I even got Faye's mobile number :dealer:

Thanks to Team Little for organising the night out.

JW

P.S. Have we got any photos of the Mad Dog smiling?

Great night out and it was a mistake to let the train take the strain, had to go long before we wanted to and missed talking to lots of people.

Mucho thanks to Chris and Jan for organising a brilliant evening 8)
